The Evil 1% make a very delicious snack

Never minimize your writing and head off to Google. I did this, and when I came back all of my goddamn writing had disappeared. I wonder where in the hell it went? How can it all just be gone? Is there a philosophical answer to this question????? 

I am very displeased at the present moment. 🤬

As far as today's prompt goes, I am having difficulty trying to find a way to answer this question in a funny or interesting way. I have only recently just woken up, which is probably hindering my creativity. 

But goddmamn it! To lose what I managed to pull out of my head, even given it's limitations, kind of grinds my gears. Oh well, lesson learned. Next time I will close out and save a draft. It was kind of dumb of me to not do that in the first place. I can't say I'm surprised at my foolish actions. 

To answer this dasterdly daily writing prompt is quite easy anyway. I do not wish to snack on a goddamn thing. There you go, prompter! Take that! 

No matter how delicious the snack set before me is, I do not want it. Take it away! I just cannot stomach eating in the morning. The thought of consuming any type of food upon recently waking up makes me ill. Especially right now, with the aroma of my partner's eggs wafting offensively through the air.

All I need in the morning is coffee. Oh, how I love my coffee. To be clear, I am a coffee snob. Gone are the days when I drank Tim Hortons, or worse, Folgers. And now, I can't have Starbucks either without feeling guilty. We buy our beans from Cosco. They might not be the most premium, best beans, but they make very good cup of coffee in my estimation. 

Additionally, the beans are dark and have an oily texture. This for me, is essential in a coffee bean. When we bought other brands that didn't have that nice oily sheen to them, the coffee just wasn't very good. Also, I like freshly ground beans. I will not buy ground coffee anymore. Once you have experienced a good cup of coffee, there is no going back to the way it was before. 

We do not use a drip coffee maker anymore. Not for ages, have we used a coffee machine. We like using a French press now. The thing is, one is not enough for everyone in our home. Oh well. I guess I'm gonna have to make more. It shouldn't be a big deal. Yet it is because I am lazy until I've been sufficiently caffeinated. 

So, all I want right now is my morning coffee. Snacks can fuk off as far as I'm concerned. 

The title I created for this prompt is not entirely accurate. I don't think the evil 1% would taste very good and I'm sure if I swallowed them, I would be poisoned and die. 💀☠️ 

I guess I could at least masticate and grind them down to nothing and then regurgitate them and spit them out. Sorry for being gross. But the evil 1% are even more gross, are they not? I find them absolutely vile. This is what capitalism has become. It may have begun as a good idea, but look what it has evolved into. And now, we have to worry about fascism taking over. This is all capitalism's fault, IMO. 

It has created a large segment of the population that is poor, desperate, and sometimes also very stupid. There is a population of citizens who are very easily manipulated and led. It is a horrific turn of events. The educational system has failed. And the worst part is, that it is a deliberate act. Only wealthy children are given a quality education. But even their education is not doing a great job of creating free-thinking, critical thinkers. But of course, that is also a deliberate design. 

I wish philosophy were taught in schools so children would grow up asking questions and thinking for themselves. And I wish that the amount of taxes your parents pay didn't dictate the quality of education you would receive. Where I am from, if you live in a nice neighborhood, where taxes are higher, your child goes to a better school. That is not fair.

And I wish the extremely religious were not allowed to isolate and indoctrinate their children by homeschooling them. Homeschooling is actually quite dangerous for a lot of kids. Abusive parents can do what they will to their kids. Nobody will be able to ask questions or notice when a child is struggling at home.

I have again gotten completely off the topic at hand. I am off the rails completely. 

Also, why aren't we feeding children at school? Why are taxpayers so goddamn selfish? I understand not liking taxes, but IF it was going to a good cause like feeding and educating children, how could anyone complain? 

Whatever. Just tax the most wealthy even a small amount more than they are presently being taxed, and we could use that money to make society a fair and equitable place for everyone. But of course, that isn't what the evil 1% want. No, indeed. Middle-class people are paying the most taxes. It is crazy. Yet many middle-class and poor people will fight against raising taxes for the most wealthy. We are fighting against our own best interest. Is it because of propaganda? Are we Systematically being brainwashed to fight against each other for the scraps, while the evil 1% sit back and laugh at us. Congratulating each other on how clever they all are?

Fuk. I gotta stop. My blood pressure is probably getting up there. Haha! It's not funny, tho. These musings I have are important discussions that need to be had.
 
Who would have thunk that today's incredibly boring writing prompt would pull this long winded rant out of me?
