Love, in the end, always vanquishes hatred. Love is a powerful force of nature. It seems like extreme adversity brings out the best in people. At least in those who can love. But make no mistake. Non-humans are walking among us. They are empty-eyed spectres. Their soul has likey escaped. It has fled the toxic waste environment it was forced to inhabit. And it is unknown if some of these spectres ever had a soul, to begin with. If you are born a psychopath, will you have a soul? I think not. Many of what I refer to as the evil 1%, are psychopaths, void of a soul, imo.
But there are severely damaged humans, whose humanity was systematically and ruthlessly taken from them through childhood abuse and trauma. There are likely also brain defects or injuries which create some of these non-human spectres. But I don't care about the non-humans, and how they became specters. Those things are not who we should be focusing our energy on. Hopefully, when they die, they will be taken to the after-death tea shop where a kindly server will guide them through their lives and their life choices, repairing and refurbishing their damaged soul. It will be a painful arduous process. I got this idea from a book, but I forget which one.
But once again, I have digressed. This goddamn blog post is supposed to be about our human capacity for love and our ability to vanquish hatred.
Witnessing great injustice or natural disasters brings out in people a desire to fight or to help those who are suffering. We need it shoved in our faces tho, do we not? Whatever is going on, has to have a profound impact on us, or we will remain idle. We might care and wish we could help, but it is not impacting us enough for us to do anything.
The thing is tho, is that if we looked closely around us, there is so much suffering that is not in the spotlight. I'm thinking of our most vulnerable citizens such as children, elders, animals, and other marginalized groups of people. People are so busy with their own lives that these vulnerable segments of our society often go unnoticed. These suffering people are not far from our homes, yet they are unseen.
This is not necessarily anyones fault though. The capitalist system we are all forced to participate in has made people's lives so hectic that they barely have time to spend with their families, let alone think about the injustices existing all around them. People are struggling to feed their children and pay their rent or mortgage. They are thinking of their own families survival, first and foremost.
People need to be living comfortably, and they need to not have such tremendous pressure placed on their shoulders. They need to have the time to think about and discuss important issues. They need to be knowledgeable about what is going on. Which points to our media, and how we are fed propaganda and misinformation.
I swear the entire system is evil. It is designed to create a population of humans that blindly follow the status quo. And don't get me wrong, not one single person existing in a capitalistic society is at fault for this. We are made to adhere to the rules. We are systematically created to participate in a game of Monopoly, whether we want to or not.
The evil 1% have an easy job, do they not? Everyone is too busy to notice their nefarious actions and the stain they are on our humanity. They have all of us pointing fingers at each other for all of the ills of society. The working class, middle class, and upper class are blaming the unemployed, the homeless, those afflicted by addiction, single mothers, etc....for everything that is wrong with society.
They have all been made to be angry at those who have less. They hate taxes and do not want their hard-earned money going towards programs that would help marginalized and vulnerable people. Becoming very angry at the mere idea of putting tax money into almost anything worthwhile for their community.
It is the evil 1% they should direct their rage towards. If we were taxed fairly, we would have so much goddamn money to put towards helping vulnerable people. That, in the end, would make a better society for us, would it not? I say we should be putting drastic amounts of money into helping the most vulnerable in society. Put the goddamn money into helping children grow up with less goddamn damage to their souls. So that they can be productive members of society, and not spend their whole goddamn life trying to recover from their traumatic childhoods. But not only that, so that they can grow up emotionally healthy, with a comprehensive education, and be happy.
I've written about my ideas on how to accomplish helping children grow up emotionally whole, intact human beings, in another blog. It won't happen tho. Maybe not until things get much worse and people are struggling enough to fight back. The evil 1% are puppet masters. All the injustice and suffering are ultimately created by their design.
What I wanted to say, tho, is that we do have a hidden superpower that we can access. That superpower is love. Love, love, love, love. We all have the "love sparkle" within us. It only becomes buried by our chaotic lives. It becomes buried by inflicted traumas. There are many ways it can be buried. BUT!!!! It is there.
Historically it has been proven, that love is the greatest vanquisher of hatred. It takes great suffering, or witnessing great suffering, to bring out our sparkle. We can affect so much goddamn change. We have so much power. So much. The good kind of power. The kind of power that saves lives and frees people from oppression. The kind of power that makes us risk everything to fight against tyranny.
I'm going to stop now. Thank you ever so much for reading my stuff.
*keep in mind that my perspective going to be biased based on where I reside and live my life. I understand that everyone here is from different parts of the world and have different cultural viewpoints. This is what I love about this place. We have so much to learn from each other.
This reminded me of a conversation I had once, about how I believe that demons walk among us. There is so much hate, cruelty, and disregard for others, that… it just has to be true.
I also had a conversation with my therapist about how I feel like nothing matters, because it’s like a battle of good vs. evil, and somehow evil always wins in the end. Not that it does, but… can evil be altered?
I believe that there is love inside… most of us. After having been emotionally numb for years, I had someone kind of jolt me back. But… I’d be lying if it didn’t make me sad all over again, because… well, the world.
I hope I’ve made some sense and have stayed on topic 😅 I tend to go 500 directions with myself.
Damn I just typed out a long reply and wordpress glitched out on me. Thank you so much for your response. I agree with you. There is no hope for the non-humans. We need to put all of our resources and money into children so they don’t grow up a non-human. We need a lot more social programs that are effective and work. We can’t rely on parents, since any idiot can have a child. It will cost money to help all the vulnerable children and society doesn’t care enough to pitch in. The evil 1% should have to pay for it. Thanks again for your reply!
