I am ever so disturbed and unsettled at the present moment. Beware of a WordPress blog site called Eric's Portfolio Site. They have taken my most recent blog post about computers and passed it off as their own in the comment section of their post about the same topic, which was today's writing prompt. I only know this because I was reading posts and luckily noticed the person's comment section. Interestingly, on their post they said "To be continued," at the end. I am assuming they mean the comment section is where their post is continued.
Maybe it is an innocent mistake, but I commented asking them to either remove the comment or credit me as the author. They did not approve any of the comments I tried to make. They have yet to remove the comment.
This is very weird and unusual, is it not? I mean, it's not even very good writing, so why would they steal it?
PS It is cut and paste, not a reblog.
Has this happened to anyone else?
PSS UPDATE: WordPress has taken action and removed my writing from their blog.

Hey! Thanks for sharing. I am new around, so unfortunately I do not know how these things can be either solved or adressed. I do believe you did the correct thing to write and ask the removal and for me the sign that it was not an innocent mistake lays in the fact that they did not reply to you…
Maybe it is worth it to create a page on your blog clearly stating that plagiarism is not welcomed and for colaboration you can be contacted at an email adress of your choice. Unfortunately, these stuff can happen and somehow better sooner than later because now you know what to expect and looking for solutions, which is great! It’s all part of the blog life, I guess.
p.s. if you write, whatever you write, it is very good because it has value in the whole writing journey. a side reminder for “I mean, it’s not even very good writing, so why would they steal it? ” which captured my attention.

This happened to a friend of mine a couple of months ago. It took her a hot minute but with WordPress support [I think} it was resolved. Sorry to hear this happened to you.

Maybe look at the event slightly from a different perspective, your words must have been pretty amazing for that person to do that act .. yes .. then although the action isn’t entirely respectful towards you, what is making you view it as an insult, im not saying his or her actions of copying your words were in fact right or wrong but they are uncovering an emotional state of thinking within yourself because absolutely everyone is a mirror to your own inner being.

So sorry that happened to you. Maybe they’ll “choke on your words.” That’s mean, maybe it’s best to pray for them. 🙏🏾
